Click "Start," scroll up and click "All Programs." Scroll over to "Accessories," then to "System Tools." Click "System Restore." A dialogue window will open.
Select "Create a Restore Point," then click "Next." Write a description of the restore point, then click "Create." If anything goes wrong with the configurations you make, you can simply go back to the "System Restore" application and return the computer to this restore point.
Open "Control Panel." Click "Network and Internet Connections," then click "Windows Firewall." Once inside the firewall settings, click the "Exceptions" tab located in the upper navigation menu.
Click "Add Program." Locate the MMORPG from the list, then click "OK."
Click "Add Port." Visit Port Forward (see Resources) and locate the port for the MMORPG in question. Enter the correct port number into the windows firewall, then click "OK."
Run "Disk Defragmenter." Click "Start" and scroll up to "All Programs." Navigate to "Accessories," then "System Tools." Click "Disk Defragmenter."
Select the hard drive, then click "Defragment."
