How to Unlock a BlackBerry When I Forgot the PIN?

Updated June 26, 2018

When you have a BlackBerry, you lock the screen so that you are the only one who can use the phone. This feature is very valuable, especially if your phone is lost. If you forget the PIN or password to unlock the phone, however, there is nothing you can do to get it back. Make sure that you write down the PIN somewhere so you have it and back up all of your phone's information onto your computer.

Enter the password possibilities that you think you may have set. You have up to 10 chances before your phone will wipe out all of its information.

Visit your local phone provider store and see if they can back up the information so that you do not lose it.

Enter the 10th password code. This will wipe everything off the phone and you will be able to set a new PIN.
