The Internet is full of fun and informative content in the form of videos and other media. Although you can easily view clips online, you can save them to your hard drive to watch them without an Internet connection or transfer them to another media player. There are a couple ways to do this, either by using browsers or special software. Once you have completed it, you will be able to access the videos whenever you want.

Download Mozilla Firefox. Once you are using Firefox, you can download the free Downloadthemall! extension that allows you to download embedded videos and watch them offline. The add-on supports different file types, including flash, .avi, .mp3, .wav and .wmv.
Another tool is Orbit Downloader. This free software enables users to download embedded videos. It only works with flash files and videos but can still be used to view files from websites like YouTube and MySpace offline. The software is easy to use and you can download the files by running it while watching the videos or playing the media you want to download.
A third tool is Internet Explorer. Once you have viewed the video you would like to download, open the temporary Internet files folder in an Explorer window and click on "Tools," "Internet Options," "Settings" and "View Files". You can find the file of the videos you just saw and copy and paste it to another folder on your hard drive. You will then be able to view the video offline.
