iMesh is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing application. iMesh has built-in support for Apple iPods. Despite acting as a media manager as well as downloading application, some people would rather use iTunes to manage their media files. If you want to transfer the files obtained via iMesh to iTunes, you can do so easily.
- Skill level:
Open iTunes. Open the "Preferences" via the menu bar. Select the "Advanced" tab and enable the options to keep your media folder organised and to copy files to your media folder when adding files to your library. Save the changes.
Locate the folder where iMesh saves your downloaded music. By default this is "Documents > Music > iMesh."
Drag the music files from the iMesh folder and drop them onto the "Library" section in iTune's sidebar. iTunes will process the audio files, copy them to the iTunes folder and add them to your library.
