The Jabra GN 8110 headset works by hooking up through your USB port and bypassing your computer's sound card. It is a plug and play device that doesn't require software installation. If you have upgraded to Windows Vista or a newer version of Windows, however, you must download and install new drivers for the Jabra GN 8110 headset. The headset will not function with drivers from previous versions of Windows.
