The BT Home Hub comes bundled with a range of software including the Yahoo browser, Wireless Manager, Desktop Help and Hub Manager. However, some of these components can cause conflicts with existing elements of Windows or your other pre-installed software. The Home Hub can function without using any of this software, so it is possible to uninstall it without your Home Hub losing functionality. Uninstalling is simple and should only take a few minutes.
Click "Start." Then click on "Control Panel" in the Start menu.
Click on the "Programs" icon in the Control Panel, and then click "Programs and Features."
Click on the drop-down list of programs. Then click on any BT program.
Click "Uninstall" and a confirmation window will open.
Click "Yes" to uninstall this piece of BT software.
Repeat Steps 3 through 5 until all of the BT software has been removed.
Click on "My Computer" and then click on the "C:" drive.
Click on "Programs" and look for any folders beginning with "BT." A common folder not removed by uninstalling is "btbb_wcm."
Right-click on these folders and then click "Delete" to remove them from your system.
