How to Connect a PS3 Headset to a Phone

The Bluetooth headset for the PlayStation 3 provides wireless connectivity so you can communicate with all of your friends over the PlayStation Network. Since the headset uses Bluetooth technology, you can connect it to your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone as well for hands-free calling. The headset can save profiles for both devices so you can use it on your PS3 and make phone calls when needed on your phone.

Press the “Power” button on the headset and hold it until the power and mic muting lights flash green and red. This will indicate that the headset is in Bluetooth discover mode.

Enable Bluetooth on your mobile form and search for available devices. This process may differ depending on the model phone you have. Consult your phones manual for specific instructions.

Select “Wireless Headset” from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your phone.

Enter “0000” as the password when prompted. You headset will then be paired with your phone and you will be able to use it to make calls.
