How to make a karaoke CD with nero

Updated April 17, 2017

Created by the Germany-based Ahead Corporation, Nero is a popular CD and DVD burning program. Burning karaoke CDs with Nero is a straightforward process, but you must first obtain karaoke MP3+G files. MP3+G karaoke tracks can be taken from karaoke CDs you already have, or be downloaded online (see Resources). When you have finished compiling your collection of files, move forward with the process of burning a karaoke CD with Nero.

Click "Start."

Click "All Programs."

Click on the "Nero" listing.

Select "Nero Express."

Click the "Music" menu.

Click "Audio CD."

Click the "Add" button.

Locate and select the karaoke files you wish to burn to CD and click "Add."

Insert a blank CD+G.

Click the "Burn" icon and confirm you wish to burn the project to CD. The burn process takes several minutes. When the disk is finished, Nero ejects it automatically.

Warning

To burn MP3+G CDs, you must have a burning drive with CD+G capabilities. Check the specifications on your burning drive before beginning the process to ensure that it is completable.
