The Monkey's Audio format is a "lossless" audio format in that it preserves the entirety of sound recordings during encoding to provide an audio file that has superior quality to comparable audio formats, such as MP3 and AAC. Monkey's Audio has two file types. The APE files contain the raw audio, and the CUE files contain information about the audio, including the track name, artist and album title.

Things you need
- Blank CD
Download the Monkey's Audio Nero plug-in (see Resources).
Unzip the plug-in to the Nero Plug-ins folder located at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins."
Insert a blank CD.
Select "Audio CD," then click "New."
Navigate to the APE and CUE files you wish to burn.
Drag the APE and CUE files to the project area.
Click "Recorder," then select "Burn Compilation" from the drop-down menu.
Select the maximum write speed appropriate for your drive, and click "Burn."
Tips and warnings
- Because the audio format is lossless, Monkey's Audio files can be large, so only a small amount of Monkey's Audio playback can be burnt to a single CD.
