How to Reset a Pentax Optio Camera

The Pentax Optio camera is a digital camera that can shoot pictures and videos and store them on a CompactFlash (CF) card. It has many features that you can customise, such as image resolution, compression quality level, white balance, focus area, digital zoom, ISO speed, sharpness and saturation. You may wish to reset your Pentax Optio camera to its default settings, which is a process that can be quickly completed.

Press the "Menu" button on your Pentax Optio camera.

Press the four-way controller until you select the "Set-Up" tab in the display. The "Reset" screen will appear.

Press the four-way controller to select "Reset."

Press the "OK" button and your Pentax Optio camera will reset to its default settings.
