How to play bik files
BIK video files are used as the video format in thousands of video games. (video game control pad image by Paul Hill from Fotolia.com)

The Bik file extension is a video file format owned by RAD Game Tools in the creation of videos for video games. The format is licensed by several companies and has been used in over 13,000 games as of 2010. These videos can also be viewed on their own like any regular video file. RAD Game Tools offers Bink Video or RAD Video Tools to view these videos. The viewing software is free, but RAD Game Tools does ask that users consider making a donation for the software.
