The Citroen Xsara is a compact and sporty European hatchback that's the official rally car of the World Rally Championship. The stereo in the Citroen Xsara is located in the centre console. You can follow the steps below to remove the stereo if you want to replace it, or if it requires repair. The process also works on the Citroen Picasso, which has a similar stereo.

Park the Citroen Xsara on level ground.

Pry and lift the two flaps, at both sides of the stereo, using an electrical flatblade screwdriver.

Remove both T20 TORX screws located underneath the two flaps, using a T20 TORX driver.

Pull and slide out the stereo from the centre console.

Detach the wiring and aerial (a small black component) located at the back of the stereo and remove the stereo from the Xsara.
