Airbrush make-up uses the same technology as automotive painting and artistic airbrush artists. It can be applied professionally before a special event, or you can use it in your home airbrushing kit. Making your own airbrush make-up foundation gives you the ability to save money on otherwise expensive commercial cosmetics. The beauty of this recipe is that it allows you to apply it in any fashion, even if you don't have access to a home airbrush kit. Using premixed foundation in your formula makes it easier to complete and use.

- 59.1ml. liquid foundation
- 7.39ml. coconut oil
- 2 tsp polysorbate 20
- 2 tsp distilled water
- 1/2 tsp mica mineral powder
- 1/2 tsp kaolin clay powder
- 118ml. plastic bottle
Add the liquid foundation to the plastic bottle.
Add the coconut oil, polysorbate 20 and distilled water to the bottle.
Secure the lid, and shake the bottle rapidly for a minute so the solution can mix thoroughly.
Add the mica pigment and kaolin clay to the mixed solution. Choose a blend of mica pigments that match the colour of your foundation. Shades of ivory, beige, pink, tan and others serve as useful colourants. Kaolin clay, a light coloured clay, provides the mixture with skin-wrapping capabilities.
Secure the cap once again and shake the bottle vigorously for two minutes.
