Different cultures have a variety of make-up styles and techniques popular in their regions. Arabian women's make-up is known for intense focus on the eyes and smooth, even skin tone. Concealer, foundation and powder are used to achieve a smooth complexion and deep-coloured eye shadows with dark liners create intensity.

Apply concealer to any blemishes on your face including any circles under your eyes. Use a foundation brush to apply an even coat over your face and neck for a smooth make-up base. The colour should be close to your normal skin tone so that the make-up enhances the tone instead of covers it up. This will keep the make-up from looking too unnatural or dark.
Apply a soft powder with a brush to even out the coverage over your face. Be sure to run the powder brush down under the chin and around the neck for a smooth transition. Use a cream concealer over your eye lids as an eyeshadow base.
Use a brush to apply a minimum of two, dark- to medium-toned eye shadow colours. Try a dark plum colour or sparkling gold to the lid and a complementing dark colour over the arch of your eye lid. Blend the colours together with a soft brush or a clean finger.
Line your eyes with a black eyeliner pencil. Run the pencil along the seam of your eyelashes both above and below. Use a thin brush to run black powder eyeliner beside the eye liner pencil. Use a smudge brush to gently transition the dark liner onto the eye shadow.
Apply black mascara by running a full brush up under the lashes and stroking the brush forward. Repeat this process to cover the lashes completely on both the top and lower lashes.
Apply a deep rouge lipstick. Arabic women often use deep reds or brown-mauve shades as the final touch to their face make-up. Run the lipstick along your upper and bottom lips, and rub the lips together as though you were humming. Touch up the other edges of your lips with a clean finger to make sure no smudges or smears have appeared during your application.
