Microsoft Word 2007 provides many different symbols you can manually insert into documents, including symbols in foreign languages, mathematical equations and currencies. The euro symbol is necessary for many, as it's a widely used form of currency in Europe. Microsoft has included the euro symbol is all of its installed fonts. It looks slightly different with varying fonts, as the symbol matches the style of the font you are using. You can insert the euro symbol in Word 2007 using the "Symbol" dialogue box or a keyboard shortcut.
