How frustrating it is to take out your air bed for an upcoming camping trip and find a big bulge that you know will soon give way! The best fix for this frustrating turn of events is a good patch that will reinforce the spot and prevent the weak area from leaking or bursting.

  • Glue-on air bed patch
  • Air bed repair glue

    Deflate the air bed in order to repair the bulge.

    Ensure that the patch is the right size for the bulge. It should cover the entire swollen area plus at least another inch and a half on all sides.

    Liberally spread the repair glue onto the back side of the patch. Let the glue sit for a few minutes until it is tacky (sticky to the touch).

    Apply the patch to the bulged area. Working from the centre of the patch outward to its edges, remove any air bubbles by gently smoothing and pressing the patch.

    Let the glue dry completely before inflating the mattress for use.
