How do I Install Dell 19-in-1 Media Card Reader Drivers?
The Dell 19-in-1 card reader can read CompactFlash cards. (Compact flash image by Joel Calheiros from Fotolia.com)

Some Dell computer models include a 19-in-1 card reader installed in the 3.5-inch drive bay rather than a floppy drive. The card reader allows you to transfer data to and from flash memory cards without needing an external card reader. However, the drivers for the card reader may not be installed automatically if you reinstall Windows on your Dell computer from the original CD. If your Dell computer is unable to detect memory cards that you insert into the 19-in-1 card reader, you may need to reinstall the driver for the card reader.
