How do I Replace the Battery on a Philishave 6865?

The Norelco Philishave 6865 is a men's electric shaver manufactured by Norelco and Phillips. The razor features a rechargeable battery that powers the shaver. The rechargeable battery has a lifespan of two years. After that time, the battery will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, this is not a simple task. The razor must be completely taken apart to reach the battery. Norelco recommends that the product be taken or mailed to a Norelco service centre for battery replacement. Attempting to replace the battery yourself will void the warranty and can cause irreparable damage.

Call Norelco at 1-800-243-3050 during their normal business hours. Their business hours are Monday through Saturday 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM eastern standard time and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM eastern standard time. The office is closed on holidays.

Give the representative your address. They will locate a service centre in your area. If one is not available, they will request you mail the shaver to their service centre at 20 Constitution Blvd., South

Shelton, CT 06484. Address the package to: Remington Shavers, Inc.

Fully charge the new battery overnight once the shaver returns. Do not use the shaver until the battery has been fully charged.
