Kristal Audio Engine is a free, multitrack music sequencing program. It can be used to mix, edit, record and master audio tracks across a number of file formats. It is particularly popular among amateur electronic musicians since it offers a great number of tools without requiring a large investment in software. Kristal Audio files are not actual audio files; they represent the raw project data and are used exclusively by Kristal Audio Engine. If you're interested in converting these files into actual audio files, you'll need to export the project using Kristal Audio Engine.
