Photo keyrings are another way to display your favourite images. An easy way to make a photo keyring is to use photo charms. Photo charms are available from craft stores and online retailers in an array of sizes, shapes and finishes. Photo charms are essentially mini-frames, and some are double sided. Selections include clear acrylic sheets that you can slide photos between and decorative metal frames with rhinestone embellishments. Photo charms have built in bails at the top so you can hang your photos from a keyring.

Things you need
- Photo charm
- Split jump rings
- Closed jump rings
- Chain nose jewellery pliers
- 1-inch diameter or larger split ring
Order a photo to fit the size of photo charm that you selected for the keyring. Many photo processors offer size selection options that will fit many different styles of photo charms. If you are printing a digital photo at home, resize the photo to fit the charm before you print it. Follow the directions for resizing photos found in the photo software you are using.
Remove the back or the glass from the photo charm and insert the photo. Replace the back or glass.
Hold a split jump ring on one side of the split between your forefinger and thumb. Hold the jump ring on the opposite side of the split with chain nose jewellery pliers. Push the pliers forward to separate the split in the jump ring.
Loop the open jump ring through the bail at the top of the photo charm. Slide a closed jump ring over the open jump ring. Close the jump ring.
Repeat Step 3 and open two additional jump rings. Hook one through the closed jump ring attached to the ring attached to the photo charm. Slide another closed jump ring over the open jump ring. Close the ring.
Add the remaining open jump ring and one additional closed jump ring to the last closed jump ring on the chain attached to the photo charm. Close the jump ring.
Slide a 1-inch diameter split ring through the last closed jump ring on the chain. Continue sliding the split ring through the closed jump ring until the end of the split section. The split ring is free to dangle.
Add keys to the keyring by sliding them through the split ring.
