Tips and warnings

  • Another way to unlock the ThinkPad is to simply turn it off and turn it back on, or by removing and reinserting the battery. But without stopping programs or the laptop's operating system this could cause damage, making using the Fn and F2 keys the longer, but safer way to unlock the ThinkPad. Also ThinkPads are now owned by Lenovo but the process is still the same.
