Metaphysics is a branch of natural science applied philosophy. There are countless vocations in the field of metaphysics. Being a holistic practitioner combines the blended wisdom of body, mind and soul. There are many avenues to become a doctor of metaphysics and no less than 10 doctoral degree programs to select from. A bona-fide metaphysical doctorate degree can be attained at a legitimately credentialed college or university. Desired careers in metaphysical sciences can be in administration, past life regression and social work. Areas in holistic healing programs may include acupressure, aromatherapy, homeopathy and naturopathy.

Select a doctoral degree speciality. After choosing the on-campus or distant-learning accredited metaphysical college you wish to attend, order the course catalogue. Research the curriculum offered in your doctoral degree choice. All courses have in-depth descriptions. The catalogue includes all degree and certification programs, evaluation and accountability, practitioner education programs, application, enrolment information and forms.

Apply as a degree student applicant. Prospective students receive an aptitude assessment review package to assess special areas of talent that may be pursued. Programs are tailored for specific areas of interest. The applicant is notified of his status after evaluation of the aptitude tests. An application fee is often required only for approved applications.The application fee often is not required or is refunded if the applicant is not approved.

Graduate as a Doctor of Metaphysical Science, Msc.D. to become a counsellor, teacher or minister. A one-on-one metaphysical counsellor is awarded a Doctor of Metaphysical Counseling, Mc.D. A Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D. has programs in holistic counselling, metaphysical parapsychology, mystical research and several varied areas relating to counselling, teaching and transpersonal psychology. The doctoral degree is attained after completion of the required doctoral dissertation.
