Sub Zero is the infamous blue-masked fighter in the world of Mortal Kombat. His ice specialities make him a favourite of Mortal Kombat fans everywhere, and his signature mask adds most of the spark to his costume. Making your own Sub Zero mask is very easy and doesn't take a long time. And since you are using high-quality tools to make it rather than simply cutting the shape from cardboard, the mask will last a long time and can withstand many battles.

Take a plain black rubber paintball mask and detach the top half from the bottom half using kitchen shears or another heavy-duty pair of scissors. Cut right beneath the goggle area, leaving the nose guard intact. Discard the top half of the mask.

Dip a paintbrush into some bright blue acrylic paint and glide it over the entire outside of the mask. Complete the first coat, making sure the paint is distributed evenly over the front of the mask.

Wait for the coat to dry, then add a second coat. Repeat as many times as necessary, until the blue paint is solid and no black shows through. Allow the paint to completely dry before wearing the mask.

This method can also be used to make both a Scorpion mask and a Reptile mask. Simply substitute yellow paint for Scorpion, and bright green paint for Reptile.
