How to Download CDs to My Apple iPod Classic

Since its introduction, the Apple iPod has been a popular device for listening to music. Users can download MP3 files from iTunes or transfer music from their CD collection to their iPod. Transferring CDs to an iPod is an easy way to consolidate a large music library into one place. The process of transferring music from a CD to an iPod Classic is quite simple.

Open iTunes on your computer and plug in your iPod.

Insert a CD into your computer. The CD will appear on the iTunes menu, located on the far left of your screen. Highlight it.

Select the "Import CD" icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

When the files have successfully been imported into the iTunes library, drag the files to the iPod icon on the iTunes menu.
