After you have finished installing the Microsoft Office 2007 software package on your computer, you are prompted to activate the software when you open any program. In order to activate the software you must enter the product key, which verifies to Microsoft that you are using a genuine and legal version of Office 2007. However, you can also use any programs for a trial period before it is necessary to complete the activation process.

Complete the installation of the Microsoft Office 2007 software package by inserting the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.
Open any program that you want to use, such as Word 2007 or Excel 2007. A pop-up dialogue box will appear asking you to register the product.
Click on the "Activate Later" button in the Activation Wizard dialogue box and you will then have access for the program.
Open every other Office 2007 program that you want to bypass the activation for. You can then open each program 25 times before being forced to activate the software again.
Click on the "Microsoft Office" button in any program if you want to activate the software before your trial period is over.
Click on the "Options" button at the bottom of the application and then click on the "Resources" option. Click on the "Activate" option and you can complete the activation using the product key found on your software packaging.
