The Cambridge Audio Azur 540R does not have a front control panel with a "Menu" button; therefore, the receiver's remote control is required to make most changes to the system's settings, including the adjustment of the bass and treble settings. Using your remote control, you can change the system's settings using either the on-screen display (if the device is connected to a suitable screen or monitor) or the small display window on the receiver.

  1. 1

Press the "Enter" button on your remote control to access the menu. Press "Down" on the volume control to scroll and highlight "Bass/Treble." Press "Enter."

If your receiver is connected to a display, you can press the "I/O" button (instead of "Enter") to access the on-screen menu. Navigation of this menu is the same as using the receiver's display screen.

  2. 2

Use the volume "Up" or "Down" button to highlight your selection ("Bass" or "Treble"). Press "Enter" to enter the adjustment menu.

  3. 3

Press the "Tune Left" button to decrease the bass or treble; press the "Tune Right" button to increase it. Press "Enter" when the desired setting is displayed. You'll be redirected to the "Bass/Treble" screen. Select the other setting, and repeat the process to adjust the level.
