The quirky, lighthearted take of the Star Wars universe presented to us by the LEGO Star Wars game gives a wealth of fun levels and entertaining features which make the game fun and very replayable. One of these features is the Mini Kit system, which rewards players who explore the levels for the full set of Blue Canisters with the opportunity to build a new vehicle for their garage. Each level has 10, and finding the first set in the first level will give you a good head start on the rest.

Insert the game into the Wii and begin a new game or continue an existing one. If you haven't yet completed the first level, do so now so that you unlock the Free Play mode for that level.
Begin Free Play mode for level 1, "Negotiations." Choose someone capable of high jumps and a short Astromech droid character from those you've unlocked.
Head toward the left in the meeting room. You'll find the canister in the rear left corner.
Use the force to open the first door, then repair the elevator. Jump up to collect the canister.
Return to the main hallway, and use the second C-3PO panel to open the nearby door. Head left and search behind the two blue conduits for the next Mini Kit.
Return to the main hallway again, and use the Astromech panel. You'll find the canister hidden in the middle-most shower.
Head right and break open the vent. Switch to your high-jumping character and jump into the vent. Float over the gap toward the right, and you'll locate the next Mini Kit on the small platform.
Head again to the main hall. Use the C-3PO doors until you reach a blocking grate. Use the force on this grate, and it will turn into a platform. Jump onto the platform and you'll find the kit floating above you.
Switch back to your Astromech character and pass through the vent. Immediately to your left, you'll see an Astromech door on a ledge. Jump inside the container on the right.
Leave the room and head toward the screen until you reach the railing. Jump down to collect the next canister.
Keep going until you reach an airlock blocked by a force field. All the way to the right, you'll spot the Mini Kit sitting on a ledge.
Keep going until you reach the back of the hangar. Jump over the force field, then head behind the troop carrier which represents the exit of the level. You'll find the last container in the corner behind the MTT.
Tips and warnings
- This guide only helps you find the first level's set of canisters. The remaining canisters in the game will be hidden throughout the levels, and each level has a full set of 10. For more guides and information, see References.
- You may be able to speed through the levels by using the Ghost Jedi characters, as enemies can neither see nor attack them.
