Create a new account at UStream (see Resources section). UStream is a leading webcam streaming website that allows you to stream from your webcam to the web completely free of charge.
Log into your new UStream account and click "My Shows." Select "Create new standard show." Select your options and then click "Create show."
Select "My Shows" and then select the show you created. Next to the embed section, copy and paste the provided text. This text should be copied into your website or blog.
From the "My shows" list, select the show you just created. Make sure your webcam is on.
Select "Allow" when prompted to use your webcam. Select "Start broadcast." This will start the broadcasting from your webcam and will show up on your site.
Tips and warnings
- Broadcasting from a webcam needs a sufficient upload speed. Test out broadcasting to see how well it works. If it stutters, or is low in quality, you may want to consider upgrading your Internet connection.
