Look at the bar code label on the box in which the computer was packaged. Check for a white sticker with the HP Pavilion model number. The serial number will be displayed toward the bottom of the white label.
Look for the service tag sticker on the exterior of the computer unit. Check the back and underside of the computer; check under the battery if it is a laptop. The serial number may be labelled as “s/n” or “Serial.”
Use Windows to display the Pavilion serial number information. Press and hold the “Ctrl,” “Alt” and “S” keys simultaneously on your keyboard. The HP Support Information window will appear, displaying the model number, product number, serial number and other important information about your HP computer. Click “OK” when you are done viewing the information.
