BlackBerry devices come with the option to perform an Enterprise Activation directly from the device. This activation allows you to connect to your company's e-mail and other items stored with a Microsoft Exchange Server. If you do not use the exchange server, you may want to remove the Enterprise Activation from your BlackBerry. Once removed, you can no longer connect to your work e-mail or other personal management information.
Press the "Menu" button on the main screen of the BlackBerry. Move down and click on the "Settings" icon.
Scroll down to the "Options" icon and click the trackball or "Enter" key.
Navigate to and click "Advanced options." Scroll to the option for "Service Book" and press down on the trackball.
Scroll through the list of service books until you find the one listed as "Enterprise Activation." Click the "Menu" button.
Click on the option for "Delete." Click "Delete" again when a confirmation window appears.
Press the "Cancel" key to return to the home screen of the BlackBerry. Press down on the "Menu" key to bring up all the available icons and applications.
Scroll through the list and verify that you no longer have an "Enterprise Activation" icon or program.
