How to Use a Titan Peeler

Updated March 23, 2017

The Titan Peeler is a popular "As Seen on TV" fruit and vegetable peeler. Using the peeler is simple; it can reduce preparation time for meals. The Titan Peeler uses "microblade technology," utilising a blade with tiny serrations. The Titan Peeler is very sharp; exercise caution when using it to peel your produce.

Wash your produce and pat it dry. Set the produce on a standard cutting board.

Hold the Titan Peeler firmly with one hand, and hold the end of the fruit or vegetable with the other hand.

Push or pull the Titan Peeler over the produce, away from your hand. Do this slowly; the peeler is very sharp.

Turn the produce over. Begin peeling the other side. Repeat the process, until the produce is completely peeled.

Use the garnish feature on the side to cut any bad spots from your produce; this is most effective for potatoes.

Wash the Titan Peeler. You can wash the peeler in your dishwasher or you can hand wash it. Use a soft sponge and exercise caution when washing it by hand.

Your Titan Peeler includes a small board; you can use this board to make a small mandolin slicer. Insert the board through the middle part of the peeler, with the arrow facing the direction as the handle. Pull the peeler up until the blade is situated in the board notch.
