How to make chocolate fudge cake filling

Make sure your next cake is mouthwatering and memorable, and bake a layered cake. The filling layer between the two cakes can be made from many delicious ingredients including frosting, fruit, pudding or fudge. Chocolate lovers will find delight in this chocolate fudge filling made from scratch. This recipe is enough for one two-layer cake and takes very little time to prepare.

Melt the butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir once melted.

Move the chocolate mixture in a mixing bowl.

Add milk and vanilla to the chocolate. Blend until mixed well.

Sift the sugar. Slowly add the sugar to the chocolate mixture.

Mix until smooth. The chocolate fudge can be set aside until ready to spread as a filling.

  • 6 semi-sweet chocolate squares

  • 65ml (1/2 cup) milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Sifter
  • 390g (3 cups) sugar
