Decorating the car that the bride and groom depart in after the wedding is a fun important tradition to every wedding in various cultures. Depending on the car, it can be decorated extravagantly or in a goofy way. With an elegant Mercedes-Benz limousine, you can decorate the car and be careful not to ruin the paint job or any other part of it. A Benz limousine also has features that help accent the environment for the bride and groom, such as a bar and television screens.

  1. 1

Set up the bar in the Benz limousine. Make sure it is fully stocked with ice, the bride and groom's favourite beverages such as champagne, liquor with mixers, or beer. Have a platter or romantic snacks such as chocolate covered strawberries or cream puffs, or if they have a favourite snack, place those in a bowl on the bar.

  2. 2

Blow up various coloured balloons (this all depends on the colour theme for the wedding; most often it is white or pink and yellow) and tie them to the Benz's bumper and antenna as well as the door handles! Fill the spacious back seat of the Benz limousine with a couple of balloons, tied to edges but out of the way around the bar, seats and driver's window.

  3. 3

Set up a DVD movie on the Benz limousine's television, built into the back area. Play a film of the bridal shower, bachelorette and bachelor parties, or put together a digital photo album of the bride and groom and burn it to a DVD. Or you can just provide the couple's favourite movies!

  4. 4

Attach the cans or bottles wedding train first to the Benz limousine. Poke a hole into the bodies of the cans or bottles and thread a piece of string through them that is at least 4 feet long. Thread it through the mouth piece of the bottle or can, then through the hole that was poked through. Tie the other end to the bumper of the car. Do this with at least 5 cans or bottles with different lengths and colours of strings. If desired, paint the cans and bottles white or other themed wedding colours.

  5. 5

Use the car window chalk to write "Just Married!" on either the passenger side windows or the back window. Make sure not to draw on the windshield so the driver can see. Create pictures of wedding bells, or even a little bride and groom if you are a good illustrator. Write "Off to__" for whatever honeymoon destination they might be visiting. Do not write on the paint of the car so you can ensure it will come off very easily. Since there is more window space on a Benz limousine, come up with more creative sayings to write, such as "Oh My God! We're Married!" , a picture of a ball and chain, hearts and flowers, the bride and groom's initials, etc.

  6. 6

Tie white or pink ribbons onto the car antenna in the shape of bows. This way, the ribbon does not have to be attached or secured to the antenna, it is just tied around it and can easily be taken off. Tie at least two to three ribbons down the length of the antenna. Tie these bows to each handle on the Benz limousine, and secure ribbons to the handles that will flow in the wind like streamers. Since the Benz limousine has so many doors, it will look like the Benz is surrounded by breezy ribbons.

  7. 7

Toss silk flowers into the back seat of the car or add these to the strings of the bumper cans, bottles or balloons. The more colour and ruffles, the better to attract attention to the wedding Benz! Add party favours like poppers, party horns, and a disposable camera so they can take pictures together and of each other during the ride in the Benz limousine.

Tips and warnings

  • Be careful when tying the cans or bottles to the back bumper so that they don't hit the car or drag more than 3 feet behind the car.
