How to Use Salt to Kill Fleas

Salt has many uses, including a home remedy that will get rid of fleas. If you're tired of spending money on flea control products salt is a simple solution. How does it work? Salt kills fleas by dehydrating them; it ends the cycle of fleas, larvae, fleas and larvae.

Vacuum your carpet thoroughly before you begin your flea control mission.

Sprinkle table salt liberally over your carpet. Also, sprinkle salt wherever your dog sleeps; if you don't salt this area you'll never get rid of fleas.

Leave the salt for a week.

Vacuum your carpets thoroughly again and your house will be rid of fleas.


In areas of high humidity, do not leave the table salt in the carpet for too long, because it absorbs moisture and can dry out your carpet.
