How to connect Pixma MP495 to Android phone
Canon has created an app to make wireless printing from your Android phone easy. (Canon Inc.)

Canon's Pixma MP495 is a high-resolution printer and scanner with a small footprint. The device has wireless capability and in conjunction with the free Canon Easy-PhotoPrint app available from Google Play you can print photos wirelessly from your Android phone. You can select up to 39 images to print at a time and choose to make prints with or without borders. For this process to work, you'll need to have wireless broadband installed.

    Go to the Google Play website on your phone and find the Canon Easy-PhotoPrint app. Click "Install" and follow the online instructions to download and install the app.

    Switch on your Canon printer, and then launch the Easy-PhotoPrint app on your phone by tapping the icon. Tap "Images" to go to your image library where you can select the images you want to print. Once you've selected the images, touch "Print."

    Choose the printer settings you want from the next screen. Select the Pixma MP495 printer from the list of available printers if more than one is shown. Choose the paper type and select the number of copies to print.

    Tap the "Print" button. The next screen displays the printing progress and informs you when printing is complete.
