Tesco Broadband provides high-speed Internet access over the United Kingdom's landline telephone network. Soon after you sign up for the service, Tesco sends all the equipment you need to connect your computer to the Internet. This includes a wireless router that allows you to connect your laptop computer, smartphone or mobile device to the Internet over a Wi-Fi connection.

Plug one end of the grey telephone cable into the "DSL" input socket in the supplied micro-filter device. Insert the other end of the cable into the grey socket on the rear panel of the Tesco Broadband router.
Unplug your telephone's connection cable from the landline telephone socket. Plug the micro-filter device into the landline telephone socket.
Insert the telephone's cable into the "Phone" socket on the micro-filter device.
Slot the pin section of the power adapter into the main adapter plug casing until it clips into place. Plug the power adapter into a mains power supply outlet.
Plug the power cable from the adapter into the "Power" jack on the router.
Switch on the router by pressing the "Power" button on the rear panel. Wait for the router to power up and configure itself. The Internet connection is live and ready to use when all lights on the front panel are illuminated.
Plug one end of the supplied white and yellow Ethernet cable into one of the four Ethernet sockets at the back of the router. Plug the other end of the cable into your computer's Ethernet socket, which is usually on the back of the device. Switch on the computer and launch your Internet browser, email program or another online service to use the broadband connection. Wireless devices will automatically detect the Wi-Fi signal from the Tesco Broadband router and prompt you to connect to the network. To connect to the service wirelessly, enter the network name and password, which you will find printed on a sticker on the underside of the router.
