DeWalt 18V and 36V power tools are supplied by battery packs designed to provide the power necessary to run cordless. Higher voltage will supply more power over longer periods of time.

DeWalt 18V

The DeWalt 18V battery is compatible with all DeWalt 18V power tools. The battery weighs 0.68kg. Compatible chargers include the XRP Li-ion DC9310, the DC9320 or the DC9319. Tools available in the 18V line include the circular saw, compressor, hammer drill, a cut out tool and other power tools.

DeWalt 36V

Life expectancy of the DeWalt 36V is two to three times longer than the DeWalt 18V with 2,000 recharges. The DeWalt 18V battery weighs 10.9kg. This battery is compatible with all 36V power tools. The tools in this line include the reciprocating saw, jigsaw kit, impact wrench kit and other power tools.

The DeWalt 18V battery and 36V battery both come with a three-year limited warranty. A two-year free service contract and a 90-day money back guarantee are also included in the warranty package for both batteries.
