How to Remove Product Buildup in Your Hair

Video transcription

Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to talk to you about ways to remove product build up from your hair. The easiest way would be to go get a clarifying shampoo and some of them come in vary and strengths. Depending on how much product do you use, if you've got short hair, spiky hair, you use a lot of product everyday, you probably want to use a clarifying shampoo about once a week. If you are just kind of occasionally bringing products to chlorine out, then you probably only want to use it maybe once every two weeks, maybe once a month. You know best on how much product you need or you use and how much clarifying you're going to have to do. If you can't get a clarifying shampoo, another thing that works well is baking soda and water. And you would actually just apply that to your hair, make like a light paste, apply that to your hair and shampoo it in. You could even add it in to a little bit of your shampoo, emulsify it through the hair, let it sit for a little bit and then you could finish it off with a little bit of apple cider vinegar and that will actually add a lot of shine and also remove the coating of any products. So those are some ways that you can remove product build up from your hair.
