The fun dates are the ones that bring couples closer together and allow them to share a memorable experience. While planning the date, the couple should consider each others' hobbies and interests. If one person is not interested in the activity, then it will not be enjoyable for them.

However, some couples might discover that trying new things could prove to be enjoyable.

Cooking Classes

Couples can take an evening cooking class at a local community college, cooking supply and equipment store or restaurant. The couples should research the classes in advance to ensure that they are partner-driver lessons, requiring two people to cook in teams. During the cooking classes, one person can read the recipe out loud, while the other person adds the ingredients. The couple can switch positions, so both get an equal opportunity to use all of the equipment and test their cooking skills. The idea of taking cooking classes together is to have fun and get to know each other better. Although important for taste testing, the food should come secondary to the couple's evening out enjoying themselves.

Amusement Parks

Amusement Parks are packed with fun. Amusement parks have rides, games, restaurants, exhibits, concerts and other entertainment. Couples can enjoy an amusement park together. An evening visit to an outdoor amusement park can offer more bearable weather, compared to going around in the afternoon before the sun sets. Also, both an indoor and an outdoor amusement park can be less crowded in the evening, as most people tend to arrive early and not stay late. However, you should be advised that sometimes amusement parks have special events to celebrate a particular holiday, such as New Year's Eve and Halloween.

Comedy Shows

Couples are sure to laugh together at a comedy show. Couples on their first date will have no problem breaking the ice at a comedy show. Couples who have been together for a while can find comedy clubs to be an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For the couple easily embarrassed, it is not wise to sit in front of the stage because the seating area is a prime target for the performing comic.

Physical Challenge and Endurance Dates

Couples can walk, bike, hike or jog at a local park for a fun date that promotes fitness. Couples can test their strength and try to conquer an indoor rock-climbing wall at a sports complex. Physical challenge courses are also fun evening dating ideas. For even more excitement, couples can go skydiving, bungee jumping or white water rafting.
