Brush your hair to remove any tangles. Put on a pair of latex gloves to protect your hands from getting stained.
Determine which area or areas of your hair that you'd like to colour and section off the hair using hair clips. You can create a streak, dye only your fringe, dye your entire head, etc.
Apply the Matrix Colorgraphics dye straight from the bottle over the desired area of hair. Use a comb to distribute the colour evenly to the tip. The comb will also help you from getting excess colour on the scalp.
Repeat with any sections you wish to colour, pinning each section to the head with a hair clip after you have distributed the dye. If your hair is bleached or a very light colour, wrap any streaks with a strip of aluminium foil to avoid transferring the colour to unwanted places.

Cover your hair with a plastic grocery bag and pin it to your head all around using hair clips. The bag will create a heat reaction, which will help the colour turn out much stronger.
Let the colour penetrate for 20 minutes before rinsing until the water runs clear. Dry and style as usual.
