Deflate the air bed in order to repair the bulge.

Ensure that the patch is the right size for the bulge. It should cover the entire swollen area plus at least another inch and a half on all sides.

Liberally spread the repair glue onto the back side of the patch. Let the glue sit for a few minutes until it is tacky (sticky to the touch).

Apply the patch to the bulged area. Working from the centre of the patch outward to its edges, remove any air bubbles by gently smoothing and pressing the patch.

Let the glue dry completely before inflating the mattress for use.
