Turn the camera on using the "OFF ON" power switch located on the top left-hand side, above the viewfinder screen.
Switch the mode dial above the"OFF ON" power switch to either the "P, A, S or M" setting.
Press the "Menu" button located near the left side of the viewfinder screen.
Highlight the "Rec mode reset" option using the arrow keys on the round button cluster located beside the viewfinder. Press the small, round button located in the middle of the arrow key cluster in order to finish the reset process for your camera.
