Learn how to fold a paper captain's hat for any little buccaneer looking to rule the high seas.
Fold the piece of paper in half with the open end facing you.
Grab the two upper corners of the creased end and fold each corner toward the centre. This will create a point on the top.
Fold the bottom edges up toward the centre. Lift and crease the side that faces up, then flip the paper over and repeat on the opposite side.
Stick your fingers inside the hat and "fluff" it out by pushing the two long ends in toward each other.
Wear your hat.
Add feathers and adornments after the hat is completed to create a unique and customised look.
Don't pull too hard when opening the hat up. You could tear it.
