Hi! I am Drew Finn, we are going to talk about how to clean and maintain your refrigerator. Now we have cleaned the ice maker, dump up the ice, if you do not use it frequently the ice may a big chunk, so you want to make sure that you do not damage the unit when you are getting or breaking ice freeze. You are going to take the whole thing out over to the sink and dump the ice out of it. I use my ice pick so it is not frozen together, but when the individual ice cubes freeze together, they not only does not taste well but you could damage the unit, so we open the shelf like so I have access to it. We want to make sure we put the lever up. So it is not making ice when we are working on it. In a minute we are going to turn the fridge off completely so we can clean it, but actually I left the light on so you can see what we are doing. Okay so this ice is pretty free but if it was one solid chunk we have this drive in between, and sometimes there are wire coils, sometimes there are impellers like this. These are nice frozen ice cubes so it is not a problem, but we will go and dump those and we can clean this out and I will show you how to reinstall it.
