Hi! My name is Nate McCullough. In this clip we are going to talk about re-installing one of the components necessary to disassemble to change our broken wheel stud. In this clip we are going to talk about re-installing the vehicle's parking brake cable. Okay, as you can see this is the vehicle's park and brake cable. It has a cut out right here which is going to slide into its corresponding surface right there. Once you have that installed, you have a retainer clip and that's going to pop on and hold that in place. The retaining clip goes on just like so. You may find it necessary to strike it, drive it into place. Any time you strike something in the shop, you are going to want to make sure you have on your safety glasses and that's installation of the safety clip. In order to seep this cable back on its hook, we will have to actuate the parking brake lever. I'll do that with a large screwdriver. We are going to rotate it clockwise until we have enough play in the cable to slip it on to its mounting hooks. Once its on the mounting hook, we will simply take and release it and that is installation of our parking brake cable. This may or may not be required on your vehicle. On this particular one it is.
