Stroker Series

The Stroker series was introduced in the 90s and is a high-performance subwoofer. The Stroker has 3-inch dual voice coils which are a main reason that it is able to handle 1200 watts of RMS power, which means the power it can handle on a continuous basis. The Stroker uses 8 awg wire and the terminals are designed so that you can wire all connections on one side of the subwoofer rather than having to move wires from one side to the other. The Stroker is a 12-inch subwoofer with a mounting depth of 8.4 inches.

Stealth Series

The Stealth series is designed with a shallow mounting depth to allow for more mounting possibilities and customised installations. The mounting depth for the Stealth is 3 inches and it is able to handle 400 watts of RMS power. The recommended box size for the Stealth in a sealed enclosure is .75 cubic feet and for a vented enclosure is 1.25 cubic feet.

Vmax Series

The Vmax series from Cerwin Vega have been its best-selling series for the last ten years, according to its website. Vmax subs are manufactured with low resonance, heavy gauge aluminium frames to ensure they are light yet durable. In addition, they have 2.5-inch dual voice coils which ensure a high level of decibels as well as multiple wiring options in conjunction with your amplifier. All Vmax subs are capable of handling 500 watts of RMS power and they are available in 10-inch, 12-inch or 15-inch sizes.

Vega subwoofers have a distinctive red rubber surround. They are available in 10-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch sizes and are available in either 2 or 4 ohm impedances. The 15-inch version of the Vega is able to handle 200 watts RMS power and has a total diameter of 15.35 inches and a mounting depth of 7.44 inches.
