Gardening and lawn care require a great deal of time and effort, especially if you have to push a lawnmower around a large yard or an extensive garden area. Machinery such as the Husqvarna YTH 180, a riding garden tractor manufactured in the 1990s for mowing and mulching, can make the task easier and faster.

The Husqvarna YTH 180 is an 18-horsepower, 2-wheel drive lawn tractor with an internal combustion engine manufactured by Kawasaki. The engine runs on regular unleaded gasoline and has a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. It comes equipped with a hydrostatic transmission and features 30 to 35 foot-pounds of blade bolt torque. Its top speed is 5.4 miles per hour in forward gear and 2.2 miles per hour in reverse.

This tractor has an oil capacity of 4 pt. without the filter and 3.5 pt. with the filter. SAE 30 oil is recommended when operating the tractor in temperatures above 00 degrees Celsius. For colder temperatures, Husqvarna recommends using 5W-30 oil in the YTH 180. Unlike many lawn tractors, this model does not require oil to be mixed with gasoline as a fuel source.

Dimensions and Tires

The Husqvarna YTH 180 weighs 210kg. and features a turn radius of 1.5 feet. Its wheelbase measures 47.6 inches, and the tractor is slightly more than 3-feet high. It measures about 67 inches in length and is approximately 4-feet wide. The front tires need to be kept at a tire pressure of 6.35 Kilogram per square inch while the back tires should have a tire pressure of 10 PSI.
