If your organisation is participating in a raffle, one of the ways that it can attract many participants is by using flyers for advertisement. Creating the right amount of buzz for the raffle can ensure that a good amount of money is raised through ticket sales. Raffle flyer design ideas can advertise both the prizes and your organisation.

This flyer design idea puts most of the attention on winning. If the big draw for your raffle is a big prize, design the flyers to resemble the prize. For example, if your organisation is raffling off a car, construct the flyer in the shape the prize car, such as a convertible or sedan, writing the pertinent information about the place and time of the raffle, the cost of the raffle tickets, and the specs of the auto.

Personal Likeness

This flyer helps build name recognition for your organisation and others associated with the raffle. If the raffle's grand prize is a meeting or meal with an influential or famous person, then design the flyer to mirror the person's occupation or importance. For example, for an actor, design the flyer like a headshot with the important information listed on the opposite page; or for a baseball player, design the flyer like a baseball card.

This flyer design idea really lets you send a message. Follow the postcard format, formatting one side with a photograph or image, and utilise the other side for specific information about the raffle. Ideas for images include pictures of the members of the organisation or special events, company logos, or prize images. The message portion on the back can address some of the organisation history and the details of the raffle. Address the flyers as "Distinguished Guest" or just "You."

Keep equal focus on the raffle and your organisation by designing a flyer that represents an aspect or image of your group. For example, if your group is an aviation appreciation society, design a flyer that resembles a biplane or jet. As a warning, indicate on the flyer that the image is no way associated with the prizes. The thought of winning a plane may increase ticket sales, but will probably decrease the esteem of your group.
