Many communities are filled with several nightclub options. One way to entice club-goers to select your establishment is to arrange a theme party. Theme parties transform a typical night at the club into an exciting group activity in which club-goers develop camaraderie. Hold rotating theme parties at your establishment to keep customers excited and coming back.

Turn your club into a tropical oasis as the warm weather hits or heat up any cool night by throwing a tiki-themed bash. Decorate a patio or indoor dance floor with inflatable palm trees, grass-skirt-covered tables and bold, tropical prints. Serve drinks with umbrellas and encourage club-goers to show up in their beachy gear to create an island feel regardless of how far from the beach you may be.

Foam Party

With the aid of a foam machine, you can turn your club into a sudsy good time. Foam machines are available from party supply rental stores. Borrow one of these sud makers and suspend it from the ceiling. As your patrons dance the night away, thick foam will fall from the sky and begin to fill the dance floor. Your guests will delight in tramping through the foam and slip-sliding their dancing behinds around the floor.

'80s Night

Go back to a time when big hair was in, Michael Jackson was the coolest and all girls just wanted to have fun with Cyndi Lauper by throwing an '80s night party. Encourage patrons to don their best slouch socks, leg warmers and neon gear. Play '80s music all night.

Zoo Party

Take a walk on the wild side by filling your club with animals. Ask patrons to come dressed as their favourite animals. To encourage them to put effort into their costumes, offer a prize for the best costume of the night. Decorate the club so it looks like an exotic wild land complete with tall grasses and trees. Rent some cages in which particularly skilled animals can dance, or decorate the walls with bars so your guests feel as if they really are zoo inhabitants. Create some animal-themed cocktails such as a giraffe martini, served in a tall glass, or a penguin white Russian, in a glass drizzled with chocolate sauce to resemble the white and black of everyone's favourite flightless bird.
