Iceland is known for its remote beauty and wilderness. Cabins allow visitors to enjoy the country's nature while still being central to many Iceland's attractions like the culture of the capital city, Reykjavík, or the thermal waters at Blue Lagoon. Log cabins are located in more remote areas and provide views of the Northern Lights as well as opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing, sailing and hiking.

Hotel Brimnes

Hotel Brimnes has several types of accommodations including log cabins. Cabins are fully furnished with kitchenettes, a main floor bedroom and a loft bedroom. Hot tubs are on the veranda. Most cabins sleep five to six people. The hotel has an in-house restaurant which serves traditional Icelandic cuisine. The menu features seafood, lamb and beef dishes. The hotel is located in northern Iceland where visitors will get the best views of the Northern Lights and can enjoy some of the area's activities like hiking, fishing, whale watching and river rafting. A nine-hole golf course is close to the cabins and museums, art exhibitions and historical sites can be viewed in the neighbouring communities. The hotel part of the complex offers 11 rooms.
